Rose and Thorns

I just did this one for Illustration 2. It was for an article about how we see red. OH MAN. I'm so super happy with my color palette in this one, and its mate "Ambassador of Love." I've been having issues with my coloring lately, so it was a relief to figure it out a bit.

Anyway, ink on bristol (bad combo, but there it is; my kingdom for arches watercolor paper!!!), 5 1/2in x 6 1/2 in
