It occurred to me the other day that it's probably time that I admit that I just don't upload that often. That got me to thinking about how much stuff I actually end up making, or even sketching and realizing that I'm being a great big lazy butt. I put off doing ink work because I don't want to have to clean up, I think of it as this big chore/event, and as a result my sketchbook just looks so sparse and sad. I start a drawing and get ten lines down and then give up because I don't like the way it looks in the first five minutes. Well, no more! I have to say, taking this sketchbooking/journaling class has been awesome for me, the teacher is so receptive to posting failed experiments as well as successes, and she's not deducting points for things that didn't work out. It takes the pressure off so I don't get all uptight about making a PERFECT OMG SO BEAUTIMOUS MASTERPIECE STICK IT IN THE LOUVRE entry every time.

Also, I am working on the hugest crush I've ever had, which has me feeling all floaty and silly. I'm usually far too practical about things to let myself get this way, but I seriously can't get this guy out of my head. I've never had such a hard time convincing myself to be rational, it's ridiculous. He's super funny, has the most amazing laugh, giant hazel eyes, and awesome hair that I just want to run my fingers through every time I see him. That's all I'm going to say though, I've already said too much .

OMG, I'm in love with this animation right now though.
